We are always happy to welcome new members of all ages as we are committed to ensuring that the choir continues to be successful well into the future. For this to happen it is essential that our current membership (approaching 100) is maintained. You don't have to be a great singer to be a member of the choir, but it is important that you enjoy singing and are enthusiastic. Cwmbach Male Choir, in common with other Male Choirs consists of men with a variety of singing abilities that blend together to create a fantastic sound.

Probably the most common comment we get from new members is "I wish I'd done this years ago !" You'll enjoy great cameraderie, friendship, enthusiastic audiences, wonderful tours in the U.K and abroad (Croatia and Venice in 2015), but most of all singing is proven to make people happier and healthier !

So what are you waiting for ? - come along to one of our rehersals that are held twice a week at 7pm on a Monday and Thursday at Cwmbach Community Primary School, Llangorse Road, Cwmbach Aberdare, CF44 0HS. You'll find a number of choristers chatting prior to rehersal start at 7.30. You won't have to sing or audition on your first visit - just drop by and enjoy the banter and singing.
